Eric Salley, a near graduate from ECPI University, will complete an externship with Bluetowne to earn his Bachelors Degree in Computer and Information Science, Cloud Computing and Virtualization

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – September 10, 2015 – Bluetowne, a leading provider of innovative information technology solutions, today announced that it will host Eric Salley, near ECPI graduate, as an extern.

Each student at ECPI is required to complete an externship with a company in their field before they graduate to hone the skills that they acquired through the University’s hands-on curriculum. It is this kind of comprehensive preparation that makes ECPI graduates more marketable to potential employers.

Eric will work with senior-level engineers to ensure that Bluetowne’s cloud and enterprise customers have the best possible deployment and environment in which to transact business. Additionally, Eric will provide valuable documentation, VMware support case management and on-going support resolution management.

Eric is a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant who served as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and Maintenance Manager at various military bases. He has served three deployments to Iraq and one to Egypt.

Originally from Walterboro, SC, Eric holds an Associates Degree in Computer and Information Science & Network Security. He also holds certifications in VMware and EMC technologies.
